Friends of the Library Annual Meeting, Nov. 5

Virtual Friends of the J. V. Fletcher Library Annual Meeting -Featuring Author & Historian Stephen Puleo: Thursday, November 5, 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library Annual Meeting features Stephen Puleo, author of “Voyage of Mercy: The USS Jamestown, the Irish Famine, and the Remarkable Story of America’s First Humanitarian Mission.” His other works include, among others, “Dark Tide: The Great Boston Molasses Flood of 1919,” “The Caning: The Assault That Drove America to Civil War,” and “The Boston Italians.”

The evening will start with a short Friends business meeting. Friends members will vote on the slate of officers for 2021 as well as hear reports on the Friends’ activities over the past year.
