Libraries and Job Seekers – How We Can Help!
More than 60 Massachusetts public libraries have partnered to offer the 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group program to support people fifty years and older looking for a new job, a new career direction, or a Second Act career. Take advantage of these free weekly skill-building and networking group meetings. A new topic will be covered at each meeting. Attendance at each session is not necessary – but highly recommended! Job seekers can join at anytime!

WHERE: All meetings are on Zoom. Zoom room opens 30 minutes early for informal networking & resource sharing.
WHEN: January 3 to June 12, 2024
We offer morning classes. Registration Required!
1st & 3rd Wednesday, 9:30am-11:30am
(The ZOOM will actually run from 9am to noon, in case job seekers want to come early or stay late for informal networking.) The ONE session quirk is we’re going to meet the 2nd, not 3rd, Wednesday morning in June (June 12) due to Juneteenth.

Refresh your job search tools – resume, career story, virtual interviewing, LinkedIn profiles, Marketing Plan and more. Join us to gain confidence and success. This preparation will Equip, Enable and Empower you in all aspects of the job search process. The primary mission of our program is to provide job seekers in the 50+ demographic with the confidence, refreshed, and necessary tools and skills to launch and implement a successful job or encore career search campaign.
