A yellow background with illustrations of a sun, grass, and a horse. The text on the image reads "Intro to Horses & Equine Programs at Good Pickin’ Farm Monday, October 27, 4-5 pm at 5 Gould Road For 9-12 Graders
Registration and waiver are required. This program will introduce students to the equine program at Good Pickin' Farm. The afternoon will be an educational day that will provide students with many opportunities to begin to understand what can be fun at the farm with the horses. Activities will include observation and horse behavior basics, as well as grooming and equine welfare management. Students will also learn how to become a volunteer in a therapeutic riding class as a side walker or a horse handler. The goal is to showcase the many ways an afternoon at the farm can be fun and beneficial to our horses and riders through care and kindness."
