Wednesday, July 10 at 2pm. For grade 6 and up. Take your coding skills to the MobileQuest arena! In this program participants will modify Dash robots into ferocious animals with balloons, skewers, plastic straws, and more as they prepare for battle! Participants work individually controlling their battlebot until the last balloon is popped! All materials provided.
MG Book Club
The Middle Grade book club is open to registrants in grades 5-8. It meets every other Tuesday from July 2 – August 13. Come discuss a book, have some snacks, and do a fun book-related activity! Books are available for registered participants behind the main desk.
Improv with Little Spark Theater
Friday, July 12, 2-3pm. Open to grade 5 & up. Join us for Improv with Ali from Little Spark Theater! Perfect for the theater pro or newbie. We’ll explore the basics of improvisation and acting through high-energy games, so get ready for some antics, shenanigans, and a ridiculously fun time! Improv promotes creativity, quick thinking, problem-solving, and confidence! Outside unless it is too hot or it rains. Registration is required.
Tuesday, July 23 at 4:15pm. Calling all artists! Award-winning cartoonist Rick Stromoski will teach you to draw cartoons with a focus on OCEAN ANIMALS!
Wednesday, July 17, 6-8 pm. Open to grades 8-12. Bring your own game to share or play one of the many games we will have available. We’ll have many classics and new favorites available! For 8th grade and up. Free snacks and beverages will be provided. Register to receive a reminder. Extra friends and drop-ins are always welcome!
