Adult Book Clubs

The Library encourages reading not just by lending books, but by sponsoring book clubs as well. Come and join your fellow patrons in discussing the merits (and flaws) of various titles!

All of our Adult Book Clubs:

  • Provide copies of the current reading selection at the Main Desk.
  • Do not require registration.
  • Welcome new members!

Adult Book Club

  • We meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM. Email Kristina at for details! 
  • Thursday, 12/8 at 7:30 p.m. – Our meetings take place in the downstairs Meeting Room. Join us on Thursday 12/8 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss The Space Between Us, by Thrity Umigrar. Copies are available at Main Desk. The e-book and audiobook are both available to download from or Hoopla and  Overdrive . Adult Nonfiction Book Club

  • 1st Tuesday of the month, 7:00 PM. Tuesday, 1/3 at 7:00 p.m. We’ll meet in the downstairs Meeting Room. We’ll discuss The Book of Hope: a Survival Guide for Trying Times by Jane Goodall, Douglas Abrams, with Gail Hudson . Copies are available at Main Desk. Email Charles Schweppe at for details!

Our next meeting will be Monday, December 19 (one week early due to the holidays) at 2:00 p.m. We’ll meet in the Mary Atwood Room to discuss The Thursday Murder Club by Richard.
