The YAAB (Young Adult Advisory Board) is a group of Westford teens who represent teen library users. They work together with the YA Librarian to make improvements to the YA space, suggest additions to the collection, plan events, and provide service to the community. The Sweet Reads book club meets one Tuesday evening per month at 6:30pm. We will discuss Middle Grade novels and enjoy an on-theme dessert. Copies of each month’s book will be available at the Main Desk. Open to 6th Grade and up. Register on our events calendar!

Thursday, March 14th at 6pm: BYOG (bring your own game!) to share OR play one of the many games we will have available. We’ll have some favorites: Chess, Exploding Kittens, Apples to Apples, Scrabble, Settlers of Catan, Clue, Sushi Go, Life, and other beloved games! For 6th grade and up. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Register to receive a reminder. Extra friends and drop-ins are always welcome!
Register to take part in our Second Annual YA Tiny Art Show! Submissions are open for art in any medium, as long as it is smaller than your hand. Westford residents in Grades 6-12 are welcome to register. Registrants can pick up a tiny canvas from the library, or you can use any of your own materials to create a tiny sculpture, drawing, fiber art, or anything else you want to create! Artists must be registered to submit their art. Submissions are due by March 25th. A public, all-ages reception will be held for the artists on the evening of March 28th.
