Join Kevin Figueroa as he instructs us on using the Procreate app for iPads to create our own digital art! No experience necessary! Kevin will have iPads and Apple pencils for participants to use, so no need to bring your own! Artwork produced in class can be brought home on a phone or computer. For ages 8 and up. Create a Valentine Heart Mosaic with Tiny Tile Mosaics

Create a beautiful handmade mosaic heart to give to family or friends for Valentine’s Day! Join Crystal D’Abbrachio, of Tiny Tile Mosaics, for this fun workshop. All supplies are included. This workshop is open to children ages 6 and up. Young participants will learn about mosaic art and have the opportunity to work with both mosaic and gem tiles to create their heart mosaic in a wood bezel. Children will have time to apply the mosaic tiles with adhesive during the workshop and will take the grout (and grouting instructions) home with them to finish once it is fully dry. Questions? Stuffie Sleepover

Temporary Location, Children’s Room, 515 Groton Rd. Westford, MA
Bring your stuffie over to the Children’s Room and let them roam the library overnight! Drop-off will be from 2 PM – 4:30 PM on Thursday, February 12th. You can pick them up Friday, February 13th, starting at 1 PM.
Drop off your stuffies and don’t forget to make them a nametag while you’re here! There will be lots of fun adventures in store for them, as well as a glow dance party! We’ll make sure to tuck them in for a good night’s sleep afterward. Pictures of what they got up to will be posted on the Children’s Instagram, @jvfletcherkids. Questions? Strega Mama Storytime: The Mitten

Join us at Good Pickin’ Farm to read to a friendly pony! Read to a Pony programs help kids develop literacy skills and build confidence & self-esteem. The pony is looking forward to sharing a favorite book with you! Therapy ponies provide warm and non-judgmental reading companions for new or experienced readers. Each child who signs up will have 15 minutes solo to read with a pony. There are six 15-minute spots available in this session. The program is limited to kids aged 6-9. Children may bring their own book from home or choose to read one from the library collection. Please arrive at the barn 5-10 minute before your session begins.

Playdough Palooza!

This is the sequel to the much-loved Dozens of Doughnuts. Carrie will read her delightful picture book, have a brief Q&A and follow with a fun pancake craft. Winnie the Pooh Storytime

Join us at the charming Winnie the Pooh house for a fun storytime based on A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh story! Ellen Harde will read selections from the original Winnie the Pooh and young participants will have time to explore Westford’s Winnie the Pooh house. This year celebrates the 100-year anniversary as the original book’s publication by A.A. Milne was on on October 14, 1926. This program is for ages 2-6. Registration is required. Questions?
