Here is a list of all of our special program offerings through February. Many of these programs have been made possible by COVID funding secured by Senator Edward J. Kennedy, First Middlesex District as well as generous funding from the Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library and the KDK Foundation in honor of Kurt Kelly.

|For kids in grades 3 and 4, Cartoon Workshop with award winning cartoonist Rick Stromoski will host three workshops: one each in February, March, and April.|

Virtual Cartooning Class
For kids in grades 3 and 4, award winning cartoonist Rick Stromoski will host three workshops in 2021.
Registration opens on Monday, January 11 at 6:30 PM.
Virtual – Tuesday, February 16 @11:30 AM
Registration for this program opens on Monday, February 1 and is limited to 30 participants.
In this Zoom instructional program presented by Ways of Color, kids in grades 3 and 4 will make a rectangle sun catcher from a prepackaged kit that will be available for curbside pickup before the program. Each kit includes real glass pieces from which young artists can create many color combinations and patterns, a Plexiglas base, non-toxic water soluble glue, and string.
This program is open to Westford residents and requires a library card number for sign up.
Build a Polar Bear
Virtual – Wednesday, February 17 at 1 PM
Registration for this program opens on Monday, February 1 and is limited to 74 kids.
For kids age 3 and up, our build a polar bear workshop includes a story read by Miss Nancy coupled with a polar bear kit. The kits will be available for curbside pickup before the program and include at 15 inch polar bear, a rainbow wish star, a packet of stuffing, a birth certificate, and a laminated take home bag.
