Adult Book Clubs

The Library encourages reading not just by lending books, but by sponsoring book clubs as well. Come and join your fellow patrons in discussing the merits (and flaws) of various titles!

All of our Adult Book Clubs:

  • Provide copies of the current reading selection at the Main Desk.
  • Do not require registration.
  • Welcome new members!

Adult Book Club

  • 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. 
  • We will meet at the Library’s temporary location – 515 Groton Rd, second floor
  • Thursday, May 15th (please note, this is one week later than usual) at 6:30 p.m. – Join us to discuss A Midwives Tale: the Life of Martha Ballard by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich. Copies will be available soon at the Main Desk and there are downloadable copies  (audio and e-copies) available from Hoopla and Overdrive/Libby.

Adult Nonfiction Book Club

  • 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
  • VIRTUAL: Tuesday, April 1st at 6:30 p.m. – We’ll discuss The Revolutionary by Stacy Schiff. Copies are available at Main Desk.

Monday Mystery Book Club

  • (Roughly) the Fourth Monday of the month at 2:30 p.m.
  • Monday, April 28th at 2:30 p.m. in person at Roudenbush Community Center, 65 Main St in Westford. The Mystery Book Club will discuss The Longmire Defense by Craig Johnson.
