Adult Book Clubs

The Library encourages reading not just by lending books, but by sponsoring book clubs as well. Come and join your fellow patrons in discussing the merits (and flaws) of various titles!

All of our Adult Book Clubs:

  • Provide copies of the current reading selection at the Main Desk.
  • Do not require registration.
  • Welcome new members!

Adult Book Club

  • 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. 
  • We will meet at the Library’s temporary location – 515 Groton Rd, second floor
  • Thursday, December 11th at 6:30 p.m. – We’ll discuss James by Percival Everett. Copies are available at the Main Desk. The e-book and audiobook are available to download from Libby.

Adult Nonfiction Book Club

  • 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 7th at 6:30 p.m. – We’ll discuss The Perfectionists: How Precision Engineers Created the Modern World, by Simon Winchester. Copies are available at Main Desk. The ebook and audiobook are available to download from Libby.

Monday Mystery Book Club

  • Fourth Monday of the month at 2:30 p.m.
  • Monday, December 15th at 2:30 p.m. in person at Roudenbush Community Center, 65 Main St in Westford. The Mystery Book Club will discuss Fire and Bones by Kathy Reichs. Copies are available at Main Desk. The ebook is available to download from Libby.
