The YAAB (Young Adult Advisory Board) is a group of Westford teens who represent teen library users. They work together with the YA Librarian to make improvements to the YA space, suggest additions to the collection, plan events, and provide service to the community. The Sweet Reads book club meets one Tuesday evening per month at 6:30pm. We will discuss Middle Grade novels and enjoy an on-theme dessert. Copies of each month’s book will be available at the Main Desk. Open to 6th Grade and up. Register on our events calendar!
Crafternoon (Taylor’s Version)
Join us in the Meeting Room on the April 22nd for a special Crafternoon! We’ll listen to Taylor Swift and make Swiftie crafts like lyric poetry, eras collages, and of course friendship bracelets!
April Vacation Program: Tuesday, April 16th at 2pm. Come to the Meeting Room to celebrate Earth Month by making some tiny terrariums! We’ll fill recycled glass jars with rocks, sand, moss, and tiny plants. Open to anyone in grade 5 and up.
April Vacation Program: Thursday, April 18th at 2pm. Celebrate Earth Month by reducing & reusing! Bring any gently used, unwanted items to our pop-up thrift swap in the Meeting Room. We’ll have racks to display clothes and tables to display items. Shop and swap – everything is free! Bring any unwanted items: clothes, accessories, books, notebooks, art supplies, posters, board games, puzzles… anything you don’t need that others might want! Items can be brought to the event, or dropped off ahead of time. For Grades 6-12. Refreshments will be served, and leftover items will be donated.
Thursday, May 23rd at 6pm. Come to the Meeting Room from 6-8pm to enjoy some free boba, play games, and hang out. Registration is appreciated, but drop-ins are always welcome. For 7th grade and up.
