Beginner’s Chess for Kids

Saturday, March 7 at 1 p.m.In preparation for our new chess club offering for kids in grades 3 to 5, Glenn Davison will be here to teach the fundamentals of chess. In one hour you will learn the basics including: setting up the board, using the pawns, how to move to win and special moves, ten tips for playing a better game, and how to win a game of chess in four moves.
