Strega Mama Storytime

Join us at the Roudenbush Community Center for a spooky storytime with Strega Mama. She will be taking us on a journey through Halloween Town as she tells us the tale of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Read with Ponies (1st Session)

What’s better than taking some time to relax and read? When that time is spent with a pony!
We welcome you to join us at Good Pickin’ Farm where you will be able to read to a pony! Each child who signs up will get 15 minutes solo to read with a pony. There are 6 spots available in each session.
The program is limited to kids aged 6-9.
Registration is required. Registration for the first session opens Wednesday, October 1 at 10:00 AM.

Princess Visit

The Book Princess will be gracing us with her presence and delighting us with a storytime and sing-a-long. There will be time at the end of the program for photographs with the princess.
Registration is required. Registration for the second session of this event opens Wednesday, October 22 at 10:00 AM.
Stuffy Sleepover
Thursday, November 13

Bring your stuffies over to the Children’s section and let them roam the library overnight!
Drop-off will be from 2 PM – 4:30 PM on Thursday, November 13.
You can begin to pick them up Friday, November 14th, starting at 1 PM.
Drop off your stuffies and don’t forget to make them a nametag while you’re here! There will be lots of fun adventures in store for them, as well as a dance party! We’ll make sure to tuck them in for a good night’s sleep afterward. Pictures of what they got up to will be posted on the Children’s Instagram, @jvfletcherkids.
