21st Century Library Groundbreaking!
On June 23, 2025 under a blazing sun, State Legislators, Town Officials, Library Trustee Board and Permanent Town Building Committee Members, representatives of the Board of Library Commissioners, of Finegold Alexander Architects, and of Hutter Construction Corporation broke celebratory ground in front of the historic Library facade for the future renovation/addition!

Thank you to everyone who braved the heat and joined us at the Library expansion groundbreaking ceremony! A special thank you to our speakers; Scott Hazelton, Permanent Town Building Committee, Representative James Arciero, Senator John Cronin, Jessica Vilas Novas, Commissioner, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, G. Thomas Clay, Chair, Select Board, Marianne Fleckner, Board of Library Trustees, and Kristen Las, Town Manager. A big thank you to all of our speaker, our Friends and Foundation Board members and the supportive Town voters who have brought us to this exciting moment!
